These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of engineering services by AJ D&D (“the Company”) to its clients (“Client” or “you”). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by the terms set forth below.
AJ D&D offers both fixed-price quotes and hourly rate services, depending on the nature and scope of the project.
A detailed estimate will be provided prior to the commencement of work.
All fees quoted are inclusive of applicable taxes.
A deposit of 10% to 50% of the total project cost is required before work begins.
Full payment is due upon completion of the agreed-upon engineering services.
Preferred payment method is e-transfer, but cheque, cash, or credit card will also be accepted.
AJ D&D reserves the right to withhold final deliverables, including stamped drawings, letters, or official documentation, until full payment has been received.
An interest charge of 2% per month will apply to any overdue balances.
If payment remains outstanding beyond 60 days, AJ D&D may initiate legal action or engage third-party collection services to recover the debt.
The Client will be responsible for any additional costs associated with the recovery process.
AJ D&D currently provides services within the province of Ontario only.
We serve a diverse range of clients, including homeowners, contractors, developers, architects, and business owners in both commercial and industrial sectors.
Revisions are generally included in the original fee, depending on their magnitude.
If there is a change in project scope or significant deviation from the original plans after the agreement is made, additional charges may apply.
Any such charges will be discussed with and approved by the Client before work proceeds.
Cancellations after work has started may be permitted based on the nature and severity of the reason.
If a Client is unsatisfied or changes their mind mid-project, a refund will not be granted, unless it is proven that the issue is the responsibility of the engineer.
AJ D&D’s liability is limited to the scope of services provided and does not extend to any indirect, consequential, or third-party damages.
All work is carried out in accordance with professional engineering standards and applicable provincial regulations.
AJ D&D reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Clients will be notified of any significant changes in writing or via email.
